It’s only the best summer house boating event ever created, and it’s coming to a lake near you! About half way between Vancouver and Calgary to be exact. Smack dab in the middle of beautiful British Columbia’s mountain valleys lies the infamous Shuswap lakes. Legend has it, every summer, thousands of young, beautiful people flock there for sunny days houseboating on the lake, drinking in gorgeous mountain views, and experiencing the incredible adventure that houseboating has to offer. But hey, you’ll just have to experience it yourself…

When exactly is this going down?
For years Canadians have been crossing their fingers, hoping that global warming will give them a break. Until that happens, we’re stuck dealing with a limited time frame when lakes aren’t frozen over. This year, the alignment of the sun with the polar ice caps makes for the perfect summer getaway between April 1st-September 2nd. Boat Week participants will take in some sunny days and starry nights.
