Adventure is our passion. We live and breathe it. The Boat Week is a concept developed for like-minded adventure seekers, who are looking for something unconventional – an experience like no other. We are dedicated and excited about building a team of rockstars who embody the Boat Week’s values and who are passionate about showing others the best houseboating experience of their lives
We are happy to welcome you to the Boat Week team. To be bluntly clear: becoming a crew member is an unpaid position. If that is an issue, we ask that you please do not apply. Your pay will be an all expenses paid trip to THE BOAT WEEK and invaluable experience working with a young, fresh and dynamic startup company. If you can convince us you’re driven and focused, reliable and trust-worthy, we would love to have you on board The Boat Week team for years to come as we expand.
We’re young, driven and play as hard as we work. We expect the same from you.
What we look for when hiring Crew Members:
- Passionate, Enthusiastic and FUN people are awesome. Ever been on a trip with a boring tour guide? That’s no fun. We expect you to be full of energy and locked and loaded. Bring your A game for The Boat Week. Extra points if you can do backflips.
- Previous experience with Event management + dealing with large groups of people is a huge plus. Worked for a tour operator? Or are you just that guy (or girl) who always plans all the trips for your friends? Let’s talk.
- Responsible, organized and mature. We need someone who can handle a large amount of responsibility and work well under high-stress situations. There will be up to 20 people on a boat at one time that you’re responsible for- and that is not something we take lightly at all. Everyone is there to have a good time but if you’re looking at this as a way to come and “party for free”, please do not apply.
- Are you half awesome/half kickass 78% of the time? Tell us your superpowers or dreams. Full time model? Black belt jujitsu sensei, aerobatic helicopter pilot, or world-class pianist? We want kickass brand ambassadors to help us make The Boat Week an unforgettable summer experience!
We live our brand. We’re dedicated to building an incredible event for years to come. There’s no room for weak contribution. We are not your stepping stone – we’re your proving ground. You’ll have things to show for your time with us. You’ll be part of creating unforgettable experiences for hundreds of adventurers while also building a kick-ass brand that we’re all incredibly proud of.
This is not about coffee-runs or getting shoved in a back room to shred papers. This is an inside position to market a cutting-edge world class event. We’re expecting you to learn from us and contribute wherever possible.
