What is The Boat Week?
The Boat Week is Canada’s premier luxury houseboating event! Imagine vacationing in the middle of beautiful Lake Shuswap in BC with your best of friends for 4 sunny days and 4 starry nights. Swimming, hiking, BBQ’s, drinking, and the best of all… BOATING! When it comes to summer vacations, there isn’t much that can beat houseboating. If you have never been, ask some of your friends about it. We guarantee you won’t be let down by the stories!
What happens on Boat Week?
The Boat Week events team will be organizing daily activities during Boat Week. Activities include swimming, cliff jumping, hiking, golf, mini-golf, tubing, jet-skiing, diving, and more… Every day you will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of activities. If you just want to hang out and catch some sun on the boat all week that is fine too! Nightlife activities include 2 themed bar nights, 1 beach campfire night, and 1 night at Nielson beach with approximately 20-30 other houseboats!

Our marketing team is positioned in locations across Western Canada, such as Edmonton, Calgary, and Vancouver. This means we will have young people 19-30 coming from all over Western Canada and the United States.

How do I get to Boat Week?
You have 2 options…
- You can drive out with your friends.
- We can help organize car-pooling if you’re stranded for a ride. Just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate you if you’re stranded! Travel times are: Edmonton (10 hours), Calgary (7 hours), & Vancouver (6 hours) to Sicamous, BC, Canada.
Where do I sleep?
Our luxury houseboats are equipped to hold 14-24 passengers comfortably. Each houseboat comes equipped with 1 crew member to drive the boat and accommodate participant’s questions and requests.
